Overview
Masai Mara National Reserve: Kenya’s most famous reserve, known for its high concentration of wildlife, especially the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and the annual Great Migration.
Lake Nakuru National Park: Famous for being a rhino sanctuary and for its historical flamingo population. While flamingo numbers can fluctuate, the park is an excellent place to see both black and white rhinos, as well as other wildlife like lions, giraffes, and waterbucks.
Lake Naivasha: A freshwater lake offering a different type of safari experience. Activities here often include boat rides to see hippos and a wide variety of birds, and walking safaris on Crescent Island, where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and other plains game.
Amboseli National Park: Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, this park is renowned for its large herds of elephants and the breathtaking backdrop of Africa’s highest peak.
